Memorial Day Weekend Hiking Wet and Soggy and Cold!

We had planned a 4 day weekend over Memorial Day – Big Hike Weekend.  Would you believe the weather on Monday and Tuesday! Not only was it overcast and drizzly, which we can hike through, but it was COLD! So our hike weekend was bleak – we didn’t get on any trail and finally salvaged the whole weekend by eating icecream in Goergetown and pizza at Beau Jo’s, then rollerblading in the Castle Rock outdoor rink.

Saved!

Maybe next week! Can’t wait to see the rockies again.

    Just wanted to thank you for your website. We hiked Three Mile Creek today, and it was fantastic! Our one-year-old absolutely loved it.
