Add Your Own Hikes

If you’d like the chance to post your own hikes on our website, and join our growing community, as well as take advantage of a link in your bio and our summer unique visitors numbering up to 2,500 a month (probably double that during summer 2010, it’s been doubling every year), then please sign up.

Requirements

Our website is geared towards people with children. But you don’t have to have children to enjoy them! We welcome any type of hiker except climbing sheer cliffs is probably a bit out of the range of this website!

The hikes need to have the following attributes:

• Time drive from Denver. Generally … or if you live near another big City in Colorado feel free to talk about that city instead.
• Level of difficulty: Easy, Easy/Moderate, Moderate and Moderate+ and Difficult. Easy hikes generally should be a couple hours at most, and the harder levels … well just do your best to place them.
• Hike description. With a couple paragraphs at least, describe the hike and the features of the trail, things you see there, etc.
• Driving directions. Feel free to use a mapquest link or something.
• Nearby stops. If there is a nice little coffee place, restaurant, or shopping area, let people know so they can unwind after the hike.

So if you would like to get in touch and get some of your hikes online, as long as they have the above criteria, then go for it! It goes without saying that anything posted with any inappropriate or sexual content, or anything rude or offensive, will be deleted and you won’t be able to continue as an author. Did I really need to say that?
